Melanie Bush on the Martin-Zimmerman decision. Sara Kulins, Emily Ladau, Jordan Herzilch, Elaine Boylan.

Associate Professor Melanie Bush, Ph.D., Department of Anthropology & Sociology, wrote a blog post for the American Anthropological Association on the Martin-Zimmerman decision.


Adelphi junior Sarah Kulins was mentioned in an article in the Garden City News for her involvement at Tanners Pond Environmental Center. Kulins serves as student director representative for the Garden City Bird Sanctuary and volunteers there regularly. She is currently conducting an environmental research project on a parasite found in crabs.


Recent graduate, Emily Ladau ’13, was in a public service announcement for the American Association of People with Disabilities, where she currently interns. The video can be found here.


Jordan Herzlich, MBA ’92, was named a Ones to Watch in banking and finance in Long Island Business News. Herzlich has served as assistant vice president of Teachers Federal Credit Union since 2003. Prior to joining TFCU, he was vice president of Bank of America for five years.


 

Elaine Boylan, senior associate director of the Center for Career Development, gave her tips for phone and video interviews in Star-Ledger. Her reminders included those such as: dress professionally, avoid eating or drinking during the interview, and, at the end of the chat, thank the interviewer.
